Founded in 2014 by Jeremy Lee Martin, JLM Painting has grown into one of the most recognized painting companies in Petaluma, employing 29 painters and operating 8 to 10 active painting jobsites weekly across Sonoma County, Marin County and Napa County. The newly purchased Petaluma headquarters will become the first owner-occupied facility for JLM Painting and JLM Construction Services. The property is currently under construction and is expected to become operational within six to eight months. The facility will include offices, equipment storage, material staging areas, fleet parking and operational space designed specifically for the company's residential and commercial painting crews.

Of the company's 29 painters, 15 have remained with JLM Painting for between eight and 10 years after joining through the company's in-house apprentice training system.
Martin brings more than 25 years of professional painting industry experience to the company. Prior to launching JLM Painting, he spent 10 years as a manufacturer's representative for Kelly Moore Paints before transitioning into commercial estimating for a Marin County painting contractor handling large-scale Northern California projects.
